Role: Product Designer
Team: Startup MVP Manager & engineers
Goal: Build a streamlined platform for nonprofit program management, impact assessment, and planning.
The platform helps organizations measure impact clearly, operate strategically, and share results effectively.

Nonprofit Management Platform

The Problem

Nonprofits struggle to turn missions into clear, measurable plans.
Most tools are built for businesses and don’t fit nonprofit needs.
The result is confusion, misalignment, and lack of trust in systems.

Design System

The platform is supported by a clean, functional design system built for clarity and usability.
The system includes a structured color palette, a scalable typography hierarchy, and flexible components to maintain consistency across different features.

Components

Reusable components — including buttons, cards, input fields, and modals — were designed to be flexible, ensuring the platform could scale easily while maintaining a unified visual language.

Onboarding

The onboarding flow helps users quickly set up their first project.
They enter basic project info and delivery preferences.
This creates a foundation for a measurable impact strategy.

Scope Builder

Teams define goals, audiences, and expected outcomes.
Each scope links to SDGs and indicators for clarity and alignment.
This ensures focus before moving into strategy planning.

Editable Blocks

Each block can be edited, reordered, or removed.
Users can tailor the scope structure to fit their project’s unique needs.

Adding SDGs

Teams define goals, audiences, and expected outcomes.
Each scope links to SDGs and indicators for clarity and alignment.
This ensures focus before moving into strategy planning.

Scope Conclusion

All scope blocks are now defined and aligned.
This sets a clear foundation for strategic planning.
The process continues with shared focus and direction.

Strategy Builder

This section helps organizations turn their goals into measurable impact.
It starts with a logical model and ends with key indicators and dimensions.

Logical Model

Users build a flow of activities, outputs, and outcomes.
This framework shows how actions lead to long-term impact.

Adding Indicators

To make outcomes measurable, users assign IRIS+ indicators.
These help track progress and compare performance across projects.

5 Dimensions of Impact

Each outcome is reviewed across five areas: What, Who, How Much, Contribution, and Risk.
This ensures a full understanding of the depth and relevance of the impact.

I completed the design phase and handed off all assets to the engineering team.
My responsibilities included UX/UI design, user flows, and a tailored design system for nonprofit needs.
I remained available to support the engineering team with questions or clarifications during development.
